Transformative Research
- Organic Palm Program (PPO): This program was born from our strategic alliance with all the links in the chain, establishing us as pioneers in the cultivation of certified organic palm in the country. Thanks to this effort, we have positioned Peru as a leader in organic palm exports and have improved the quality of life of all the actors in our production chain.
- Up to date: To date, we have implemented 40 kilometers of live barriers in our certified palm program (PPO) and we continue with this task. The species implemented have been lemongrass (Swinglea glutinosa) and amasisas (Erythrina sp), which act as buffer zones, hosts for natural pest and disease controllers, diversifiers of monoculture and delimiters of the plantations.
- Integrated Pest and Disease Management (IPPM): The IPPM plan was developed to prevent, minimize and control the proliferation of pests and diseases through the use of alternatives to chemical products in the phytosanitary management of the palm. As a result, we are able to promote long-term sustainable development, protect the health of palm growers and take care of the environment..
- Digital Field: We are developing a digital tool that will quickly and efficiently capture information from our entire supply chain in real time. This will allow us to improve traceability, optimize yields and identify opportunities for improvement in the field, facilitating the implementation of corrective actions and agile decision making.
